A comparative analysis of morphometric measurements of population of Schizothorax eurystomus from the Achangaran and Kara Darya rivers using Student’s t-test revealed statistically significant differences at the 1% significance level in 9 out of 29 measured characteristics. Morphological variability between the populations was assessed using the coefficient of variation. The results showed that specimens from the Achangaran population exhibited the highest variability in outer barbel length, while those from the Kara Darya population demonstrated greater variability in mouth width.
