Hospitality is one of the ancient and enduring traditions reflecting the cultural and ethnographic identity of the Azerbaijani people. This tradition, rooted in the worldview of the ancient Turks, is regarded as an important national and spiritual value and is expressed through respectful treatment of guests, everyday customs, and table culture. Ethnographic data confirm that hospitality is preserved in all regions of Azerbaijan as an element of public morality and social norms.
