Today, toponymy is distinguished by its special place among the branches of modern linguistics. The main role of toponymy in the structure of the language vocabulary is its recognition as an independent layer both in the literary language and in the lexicon of the dialect. It is worth noting that as a result of the renewal of toponymy, various new names are entering the vocabulary of our language, which is also enriching the vocabulary of our language. In this article, the author talks about agronyms, which are one of the main sections of toponymy, and explains the linguocultural features of English agronyms with the help of examples.
