INTERPRETATION OF THE VALENCY PHENOMENON IN STRUCTURAL LINGUISTICS
The phenomenon of valency is considered an important concept in linguistics, expressing the syntactic and semantic connection of words. This phenomenon helps to determine how words relate to each other in a sentence, the degree of their connection to each other, and the number and type of required complements. The theory of valency plays a central role in the formation of syntactic units and the correct understanding of their meaning.
