LINGUOPRAGMATIC PROPERTIES OF ANTHROPOMORPHIC METAPHORS IN THE DISCOURSE OF COMPUTER LINGUISTICS ABSTRACT
This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the classification of anthropomorphic metaphors and their linguo-pragmatic and communicative functions within the framework of modern computer linguistics. The study explores how technological processes and IT terminology are represented through human traits, states, and behavioral patterns from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. Using metaphoric examples such as “virus,” “bot,” “firewall,” and “chatbot,” the paper investigates the mechanisms of metaphor formation and the semantic structures underlying these units in contemporary IT discourse
