SOVIET PATRIOTISM EDUCATION POLICY AND ITS RESULTS IN GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS AMONG STUDENTS (THE CASE OF SURKHANDARYA REGION, 1920-1990)
This article analyzes the policy of educating youth in the spirit of Soviet patriotism in general education schools of Surkhandarya region, Uzbekistan, during 1920-1990, and its outcomes. The article examines the educational programs, ideological foundations, pedagogical methods implemented during the Soviet era, and their impact on students in Surkhandarya region. Additionally, the formation of the concept of Soviet patriotism, the methods used in the educational processes, and the results based on local characteristics are evaluated. The specific features of patriotic education are highlighted in the context of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of Surkhandarya region.
