LEXICAL MEANS OF EXPRESSING THE CONCEPT OF "FRIENDSHIP" IN THE UZBEK AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES
The article examines the issues of spiritual development of the history of human society, national and cultural values, their role in the history of mankind. It is emphasized that such values as life and death, good and evil, virtue and vice, as manifestations of universal values, occupy a special place in human society. The expression of the axiological concept "friendship" through lexical means is analyzed. Common and different features in the expression of the concept "friendship" are highlighted. It is shown that lexical units, along with providing information, perform a functional-semantic function.
