This article analyzes the artistic functions of folkloric elements - especially proverbs, sayings, and folk expressions - in Uzbek historical novels, examining their role in character creation, conveying the spirit of the era, and expressing national mentality. Additionally, the significance of proverbs and expressions in the poetics of historical novels is elucidated through analytical approaches.
