This article highlights the need for Jadids to understand the national identity of the people, to know their history, literature and cultural heritage in their artistic work. It analyzes the Jadids', first of all, calling for the people to enlightenment in their artistic works, theatrical art, the ideas of national awakening, national consciousness and national independence. Jadids saw the development of the national language and literature as an important means of spiritual renewal and self-awareness of society, and used artistic creativity as the main tool in this.
