In addition to the functions of the congratulatory speech act, its main categories are analyzed in the article, the different aspects of the congratulatory speech act from other speech acts such as wish, praise, flattery, and praise are revealed. In this place, various communicative situations that are of great importance in the implementation of the congratulatory speech act, the speaker's attention to the person to whom the speech is addressed due to his achievements, expressing his emotional state, positive attitude during the communication process, sharing the joy of the interlocutor, chosen by him the role of speech acts in the process of arousing emotional feelings in the addressee by creating a good mood and expressing respect by means of language units is shown.
