The article analyzes stressful situations that occur in the professional activities of military servicemen and the psychological factors that cause them. This study examines the main psychological factors that affect the sources of occupational stress. The role of such factors as personality characteristics, coping skills, motivation, self-efficacy and emotional stability in the process of a person's perception of stress and its overcoming is discussed.
