This article provides a philosophical and theoretical analysis of the axiological interpretation of the tourism phenomenon and the transformation of universal human values. The study conceptualizes tourism as an essential expression of human culture, moral responsibility, and aesthetic consciousness. Based on the philosophical ideas of I. Kant, M. Scheler, H. Rickert, and E. Fromm, the moral and spiritual dimensions of tourism are explored. The article emphasizes that values in tourism are manifested through an individual’s inner freedom, sense of responsibility, aesthetic perception, and cultural interaction. Furthermore, it examines how globalization has transformed tourism into a transnational phenomenon, influencing socio-cultural and economic systems, as well as the preservation of national identity and cultural heritage. Using Uzbekistan as an example, the article highlights the significance of tourism as an axiological mechanism for preserving national values, cultural heritage, and historical traditions.
