Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities of studying the seismogenic zones of Southern Uzbekistan. Analysis of materials and identification of the main seismogenic zones at the regional level has established that they arise as a result of deformations associated, for example, with the movement of regional faults, structures, and tectonic blocks. It is known that the seismic process consists of the process of continuous accumulation of stresses in the earth's crust and their sudden disappearance.
