This document provides detailed information about the typing and placement requirements for submitting the final manuscript to the Scientific-Theoretical Journal of the National University of Uzbekistan.
Formatting requirements
The manuscript should be submitted in the following order:
Title page containing the title of the article and the full name, institution, and email address of the author(s) abstract and keywords
Divide your article into well-defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (later 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. (annotation is not included in section numbers). Use this numbering for internal cross-references as well: don't just refer to "text". Any sub-section can be given a short title. There must be space above and below the headings.
Write your article in English.
Submit your manuscript, including tables, figures, appendices, etc., as a single file (Word, RTF, or PDF files are acceptable).
Page size should be 8.5 x 11 inches (A4 paper).
All margins (left, right, top, and bottom), including tables and figures, must be 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).
Place the text in one space.
Use a single column layout with left and right margins trimmed.
Font:
Body text - 12 pt. Times or the closest comparable font is available
Comments - 10 pt. Times or the closest comparable font is available
If numbers are included, use high-resolution numbers (at least 300 dpi), preferably encoded as encapsulated PostScript (eps).
links. All references should be cited in numerical order in the main text.
Copy your manuscript.
If possible, there should be no more than a quarter of a page of blank space.
Additional recommendations
Line, line spacing and justification
Indent all paragraphs except those following the section heading. The discount must consist of at least 2 feed-spaces.
Except for long quotations, theorems, propositions, special comments, etc., do not leave extra spaces between paragraphs of the text. They should be separated from the surrounding text by extra space above and below them.
Do not "widow" or "orphan" text (ie, end a page with the first line of a paragraph or begin with the last line of a paragraph).
All text must be left-justified (ie, flush with the left margin - except for indentation). If possible, it should also be right-justified (ie, equal to the right margin). "When possible" refers to the quality of reasoning. For example, LaTeX and TeX do a pretty good job of justifying text. Word does an average job. But some word processors do a bad job (for example, they achieve proper justification by putting too many spaces inside and between words). We prefer straight right edges. However, it is better to have right edges beveled than to have right edges flush with words and spaces between words. Make up your own mind which one looks better.
Language and grammar
All submissions must be in English. In addition to common foreign words and phrases, the use of foreign words and phrases should be avoided.
Authors must use correct, standard English grammar. Elements of Style William Strunk, Jr. and E. B. White (now in its fourth edition) are the "standard" guides, but there are other excellent guides (eg, The Chicago Manual of Style, University of Chicago Press).
Article length
Since this journal is published electronically, page boundaries are not as important as in the print world. Therefore, we are happy to allow authors to use this greater "bandwidth" to include material that they would otherwise have to cut for entry into the print journal. These authors said that some discretion should be used in terms of length.
color text
Set the font color for most of the text to black. We encourage authors to use color when producing figures, maps, etc., but you should understand that this may cause problems for some of your readers to print the document on a black and white printer. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid using color translation in black and white in situations where it makes the material unreadable or unintelligible.
Please ensure that the final version does not contain any color markings or annotations unless they are intended to be part of the final text. (You may need to "accept all changes" when tracking changes, or set your document to "normal" when finalizing.)
highlighted text
Whenever possible, use italics instead of underlining the text you want to emphasize. It is not recommended to use color to highlight the text.
font faces
Except where special characters are needed, use Times or the closest comparable font. If you want a second font, for example for headings, use a sans serif font (like Arial or Computer Modern Sans Serif).
Font size
The body of the text should be set at 12pt. Avoid using fo
nts smaller than 6pt.
foreign terms
Whenever possible, foreign terms should be italicized, not underlined.
main text
The font for the body of the text should be black and, if possible, in Times or the nearest comparable font.
Titles
If possible, titles of books, movies, etc. should be italicized rather than underlined.
Comments
Izohlar qog'oz oxirida emas, balki ularga havola qilingan sahifaning pastki qismida ko'rsatilishi kerak. Izohlar 10 nuqtadan iborat bo'lishi kerak. Mavjud vaqtlar yoki eng yaqin taqqoslanadigan shrift bir intervalli bo'lishi kerak va izohni ajratish qoidasi (chiziq) bo'lishi kerak. Matndagi izoh raqamlari yoki belgilar tinish belgilaridan oldin emas, balki keyin kelishi kerak. Haddan tashqari uzun izohlar, ehtimol, ilovada yaxshiroq ko'rib chiqiladi. Barcha izohlar chapga va o'ngga asoslangan bo'lishi kerak (ya'ni, o'ng chetiga teng), agar bu noqulay intervallarni yaratmasa.
Jadvallar va rasmlar
Mumkin bo'lgan darajada, jadvallar va raqamlar hujjatda matnda havola qilingan joyga yaqin joylashgan bo'lishi kerak. Katta jadvallar yoki raqamlar sahifalarga mustaqil ravishda joylashtirilishi kerak. Jadvallarda haddan tashqari kichik turlardan foydalanishdan saqlaning. Hech qanday holatda jadvallar yoki raqamlar alohida hujjat yoki faylda bo'lmasligi kerakmi? Barcha jadvallar va raqamlar portret va landshaft ko'rinishida har tomondan (yuqorida, pastda, chapda va o'ngda) 1,5 dyuym oralig'ida joylashishi kerak.
Matematika
Matematik ifodalarda o'zgaruvchi sifatida ishlatiladigan rim harflari kursiv bo'lishi kerak. Ko'p harfli funksiya nomlarining bir qismi sifatida ishlatiladigan rim harflari kursiv bo'lmasligi kerak. Iloji bo'lsa, pastki va yuqori skriptlar asosiy matndan kichikroq shrift hajmida bo'lishi kerak.
Qisqa matematik ifodalar qatorga kiritilishi kerak. Uzunroq ifodalar matematikani ko'rsatish sifatida paydo bo'lishi kerak. Bundan tashqari, ko'p turli darajadagi (masalan, kasrlar kabi) ishlatadigan iboralar displey matematikasi sifatida o'rnatilishi kerak. Muhim ta'riflar yoki tushunchalar ham displey matematikasi sifatida belgilanishi mumkin.
Tenglamalar ketma-ket raqamlangan bo'lishi kerak. Tenglama raqamlari o'ngda yoki chapda bo'ladimi, muallif(lar)ning tanlovi. Biroq, bu borada izchil bo'lishingiz kutiladi.
Noodatiy shriftlardagi belgilar va belgilardan qochish kerak. Bu nafaqat qo'lyozmaning ravshanligini oshiradi, balki uning o'quvchi ekranida to'g'ri ko'rsatilishini va uning printerida to'g'ri chop etilishini ta'minlashga yordam beradi. Hujjatingizni PDF formatida tekshirishda matematikani, ayniqsa standart shriftlardan tashqari boshqa belgilar va belgilarni ko'rsatishga alohida e'tibor bering.
Ma'lumotnomalar
Matnda iqtibos keltirish
Adabiyotlar matnda paydo bo'lishi uchun ketma-ket raqamlangan bo'lishi kerak. Raqamlar yoki jadvallarda keltirilgan havolalar (yoki ularning rivoyatlari va izohlarida) agar jadvallar va raqamlar o'zaro ko'rib chiqish/tasdiqlash bosqichida boshqa joyga ko'chirilgan bo'lsa, ularni raqamlashdan qochish uchun ma'lumotnomalar ro'yxatining oxirida ko'rsatilishi kerak. Matndagi mos yozuvlar raqamlari tinish belgilaridan so'ng darhol kiritilishi kerak (so'z oralig'isiz) - masalan, [6] emas, [6].
Agar bir nechta havolalar keltirilsa, ular vergul bilan ajratilishi kerak, masalan,[1, 4, 39]. Ketma-ket raqamlar ketma-ketligi uchun ketma-ketlikning birinchi va oxirgi raqamini defis bilan ajrating, masalan,[22-25]. Ushbu formatda taqdim etilgan havolalar ishlab chiqarish jarayonida yuqori skript turiga tarjima qilinadi va maqolaning elektron shakllarida matndan iqtibos keltirgan havolalarga havola sifatida ishlaydi.
Shuni esda tutingki, agar havolalar tartibda keltirilmagan bo'lsa, qo'lyozma tahririyatga ko'rib chiqish uchun yuborilishidan oldin tuzatish uchun qaytarilishi mumkin.
Malumot ro'yxati
Muallifning majburiyati zarur ma'lumotlar bilan to'liq havolalarni taqdim etishdir. Taqdimotingizning oxirgi jumlasidan so'ng, iltimos, sahifalar oralig'ini emas, qatorlarni qo'ying va iloji bo'lsa, havolalaringizni xuddi shu sahifadan boshlang. Ma'lumotnomalar hujjat tugagandan so'ng, iloji bo'lsa, oxirgi sahifadan boshlab paydo bo'lishi kerak. Adabiyotlar matnda qayd etilgan tartibda ketma-ket raqamlangan bo'lishi kerak. Murojaatlar chapga ham, o'ngga ham qo'yilgan chegaralarga ega bo'lishi kerak. Agar oraliq juda noqulay ko'rinsa, siz bir yoki bir nechta havolalarning chetini o'ng tomonga asoslamaslikni tanlashingiz mumkin. Har bir ma'lumotnomada barcha mualliflarning familiyasi, ismlari yoki bosh harflari va ixtiyoriy ravishda o'rta harflarining bosh harflari ko'rsatilishi kerak. Murojaatlarni buyurtma qilish ierarxiyasi:
Birinchi muallifning familiyasi
Birinchi muallifning ismi
Ikkinchi muallifning familiyasi (agar mavjud bo'lsa). Hammualliflik ishlari xuddi shu birinchi muallifning yakkaxon mualliflik ishidan keyin sanab oʻtilgan (masalan, Edlin, Aaron S.
Edlin, Aaron S. va Stefan Reyxelshteyndan oldin boʻlardi).
Ikkinchi muallifning ismi
nashr etilgan sana
Matnda keltirilgan buyruq
Adabiyotlarda har bir iqtibos bilan ko'rsatilishi kerak bo'lgan ma'lumotlar quyidagicha:
An'anaviy jurnallardagi maqolalar:
Majburiy: Muallifning (mualliflarning) familiyasi(lar), maqola nomi, jurnal nomi, nashr etilgan yili (yoki sanasi bo‘lmasa “n.d.”), jild raqami, sahifa raqamlari.
Majburiy emas (lekin kerakli): masala
