INFLUENCE OF WATER LEVEL REGIME ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF HYDROMORPHISM PROCESSES IN THE KATTAKURGAN RESERVOIR REGION

Authors

The article studies the process of hydromorphism of soils around the Kattakurgan reservoir. According to the results, typical gray
loamy soils are distributed on the southern, western, and eastern sides of the reservoir and have not undergone hydromorphism,
while on the northern side, low, medium, and strong levels of hydromorphism are formed. This is due to the difference in elevation
between the northern and other sides of the reservoir, which is 55-60 meters above sea level, and the outlet and inlet channels are
located precisely on the northern side.
