This article discusses the urgent problem of improving the effectiveness of training future history teachers in higher education
through the introduction of differentiated classes. The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of a differentiated approach in
the pedagogical process, reveals its essence, principles and forms of organization in relation to the disciplines of the historical
cycle. In conclusion, the author substantiates the conclusion that the systematic use of differentiated classes contributes to the
formation of a higher level of professional readiness of future history teachers.
