STYLISTIC FEATURES OF COMPLEX SENTENCES IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK
This article provides a comparative analysis of the syntactic structure and functional-stylistic potential of complex sentences in
English and Uzbek. It examines the theoretical foundations of the concept of the complex sentence, its classification, and its
functions in literary, scientific, and journalistic discourse, as well as its stylistic load in dialogic and monologic speech. Drawing
on examples from English and Uzbek literary texts, the article demonstrates the role of complex sentences in creating narrative
dynamics, enhancing psychological depth, consistently expressing logical relations, and indirectly revealing the author’s position
