THE GENESIS AND EVOLUTION OF THE IMAGE OF WEALTH AND THE RICH IN LITERARY STUDIES
This article examines the genesis and evolution of the image of the rich person in literary studies through historical-typological
and comparative literary approaches. The research analyzes how the aesthetic, semantic, and social functions of this image have
transformed across different literary periods, from classical antiquity to postmodern literature. Particular attention is paid to the
moral evaluation of wealth, its social implications, and its psychological consequences for the individual. The study also explores
the representation of the rich figure in Uzbek literature within the contexts of Jadidism, realism, the Soviet era, and the postindependence period. The findings demonstrate that the image of the rich in national literature is not treated as a purely economic
category but as a complex socio-moral and cultural phenomenon shaped by historical and ideological factors
