This article analyzes the conceptual foundations of alienation and loneliness through the prism of the distinctive features of
Eastern philosophical thought. The concept of alienation is revealed not only as a socio-political process but also through
ontological interpretations of human detachment from his own essence and absolute existence. The study comparatively
examines the concepts of “uzlat” and “khilwat” in Islamic philosophy, particularly Sufism, as well as the constructive and
destructive aspects of loneliness in Far Eastern teachings. The article concludes that the models of self-awareness and
overcoming alienation through “inner solitude” in Eastern philosophy possess methodological significance in resolving
existential crises in the modern world.
