This article presents a systematic analysis of the life forms of vascular plants in the flora of South-Western Hissar (Surkhandarya section). The study highlights the regional distribution, family and genus composition, areal spectrum, and ecological adaptations of phanerophytes, chamaephytes, hemicryptophytes, cryptophytes, and therophytes. Hemicryptophytes dominate in mountainous areas, cryptophytes in highlands and rocky sites, therophytes in desert and lowland regions, chamaephytes in arid foothills, and phanerophytes in mountain and foothill zones. The abundance of annual species reflects the influence of lowland areas, desert zones, and anthropogenic factors. The balanced spectrum of life forms demonstrates the region’s ecological stability, biological diversity, and bioecological equilibrium, confirming the scientific and biological uniqueness of the flora of South-Western Hissar.
