Plant growth regulators play a crucial role in the efficiency of microclonal propagation under in vitro conditions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of different plant growth regulators on the growth and development parameters of Aronia melanocarpa (Michx.) Elliot microclones. In the experiment, the influence of four different phytohormones on the multiplication rate, morphogenesis, and overall development of microshoots was analyzed. The results demonstrated that both the type and concentration of growth regulators significantly affected the growth and morphological characteristics of the microclones. Among the tested treatments, 1 mg/L BAP was determined to be the optimal concentration for A. melanocarpa. These findings provide a scientific basis for selecting an appropriate hormonal composition for the efficient in vitro propagation of A. melanocarpa.
