CHANGES IN THE ECOLOGICAL STATE OF SOILS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF HEAVY METALS (CASE STUDY OF A CEMENT PRODUCTION PLANT IN OHANGARON DISTRICT, TASHKENT REGION, REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN)

Soil, industrial enterprise, heavy metal, chemical element, pollution, area, permissible limit.

Authors

The study assessed the impact of a cement plant in Ohangaron on soil ecology. Heavy metal concentrations (vanadium, cobalt,
copper, zinc, arsenic, antimony, lead) near the plant exceed permissible limits. Pollution decreases with distance, confirming the
cement plant as the main source. Solutions for soil restoration and environmental safety are proposed.
