SORPTION-SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF NICKEL IONS USING IMMOBILIZED BIOSORBENTS
Downloads
A sorption-spectrophotometric method for the determination of nickel(II) ions was developed. 3,3′-bis[N,N-
bis(carboxymethyl)aminomethyl]-o-cresolsulfonephtha- lein was used as an analytical reagent and immobilized on silk fibroin
fiber. The optimal complexation conditions were established. The complex showed maximum absorption at 584 nm with a spectral
shift of 150 nm. The molar absorptivity was 1.43×10⁵ L·mol⁻¹·cm⁻¹. The proposed method demonstrates high sensitivity and
selectivity.
