This article analyzes the revival of women’s handicrafts in Uzbekistan during the years of independence and the achievements
gained in this field. The study evaluates the impact of state policy, legal frameworks, and institutional support mechanisms on
women’s participation in handicraft activities. The findings show that women’s handicrafts initially served as a means of
preserving national traditions, later evolving into an important segment of small business and employment. The development of
home-based production and family entrepreneurship strengthened regional economic stability. The article concludes that
women’s handicrafts have become a significant socio-economic factor in national development.
