NOMINASIYA NAZARIYASI VA TABIIY OBYEKTLARNI NOMLASH MUAMMOSI
This article analyzes the linguistic foundations of the theory of nomination and highlights the practical expression of naming mechanisms on the example of natural objects, in particular, tree and shrub names. Nomination is interpreted as one of the main functional mechanisms of language, through which the process of formation of elements of objective reality as lexical units is explained. The study is based on Ferdinand de Saussure's doctrine of the two-sided nature of the linguistic sign and Roman Jakobson's views on the referential function of language, and the essence of naming as a unit of content and expression.
