DEVELOPMENT OF THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY IN UZBEKISTAN DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE
The creation of a modern material and technical base for the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan has led to fundamental
transformations in industry and the national economy, in which the oil and gas sector plays a special role. It should be
emphasized that the development and stable functioning of the oil and gas industry is of great importance in strengthening the
country's economic independence and ensuring public welfare. Within the system of economic development, the fuel and energy
sector holds a decisive position in maintaining the stable operation of industrial branches. In turn, within the fuel and energy
sector, the oil and gas industry occupies a particularly important place
