This article examines the role of international and domestic academic conferences in advancing teachers’ professional
development, with particular emphasis on the competencies formed among prospective educators. A comparative analysis of
pedagogical competence development was conducted among respondents who participated in both international and local
conferences. The study employs a mixed-methods convergent parallel design, integrating quantitative and qualitative data. The
findings were systematically analyzed, leading to evidence-based conclusions and practical recommendations for enhancing
continuous professional learning in teacher education.
