INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SELF-GOVERNANCE UNDER CONDITIONS OF INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION

This article analyzes the development of self-governance institutions under conditions of institutional transformation from a sociological
perspective. It examines the impact of globalization processes and transformations in the social structure on these institutions. Selfgovernance institutions are considered as an important element of the social system. Their role in regulating social relations, forming social
capital, and ensuring civic participation is substantiated. The interrelation between these institutions, legitimacy, social trust, and social
cooperation is analyzed. The influence of the level of social activity and public participation on the effectiveness of these institutions is
highlighted. The main sociological trends of development under conditions of institutional change are identified.
