This article examines the gender characteristics of interpersonal relationships in childless families from a psychological perspective.
The study involved 72 respondents from 36 childless couples. The results obtained using T. Leary’s Interpersonal Diagnosis of
Personality method showed that men demonstrated higher levels of authoritarianism, selfishness, and aggressiveness, while women
exhibited higher levels of submissiveness and dependence on others. The findings confirm that interpersonal relationships in
childless families are shaped by gender roles and social stereotypes. The study highlights the importance of applying gendersensitive psychological counseling and family therapy approaches when working with childless couples to strengthen marital
relationships and improve psychological well-being.
