This article analyzes the physical-geographical opportunities and ecological - economic constraints for tourism development in
the areas surrounding the Tupalang Reservoir. The research results indicate that the mountainous landscapes, water resources,
and favorable natural conditions of the region create significant tourism potential. At the same time, anthropogenic pressure,
erosion processes, deterioration of water quality, and insufficient infrastructure development have been identified as the main
limiting factors. The article also provides recommendations aimed at the rational use of natural resources and the preservation of
ecological balance to ensure sustainable tourism development in the region.
