This article discusses the role of inductive and deductive methods in organizing practical exercises in the field of tourism and
recreation geography, their didactic significance, and their functions in developing geographical knowledge in students. In this
small study, observation, analysis, and comparison of pedagogical experience were used. The results show that inductive and
deductive methods are used to achieve a deep understanding of practical tasks and form students' free thinking.
