MEDICINAL PROPERTIES AND ETHNOBOTANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF KACHIMSIMON YETMAK (A CASE STUDY OF THE JIZZAKH REGION)

This article analyzes the botanical description, medicinal properties, and ethnobotanical significance of kachimsimon yetmak -
Allochrusa gypsophiloides (Regel) Schischk. The study highlights the plant’s richness in biologically active compounds and its
use in traditional medicine. It also examines the species’ distribution and ecological conditions in the Jizzakh region. In addition,
anthropogenic factors negatively affecting natural populations were identified. The results demonstrate the importance of this
species as a medicinal resource and substantiate the need for its conservation and rational use
