This article analyzes the effectiveness of the andragogical approach in the professional retraining of unemployed citizens from theoretical and practical perspectives. The study highlights the importance of adult learning principles in organizing vocational education, developing professional competencies, and ensuring employment under changing labor market conditions. The research examines the impact of motivation, self-directed learning, practical training, and individualized learning trajectories on the quality of professional retraining. Furthermore, it is scientifically substantiated that training courses organized on the basis of the andragogical approach increase the adaptability of unemployed citizens to labor market demands and improve their employment opportunities.
