The article analyzes the problems of forming professional vocabulary of students of correspondence and distance learning and the role of an integrative approach in solving them. The effectiveness of using integrated methods in forming professional and communicative competence is substantiated. Practical methodological recommendations for building the learning process based on an integrative approach are provided. The relevance of forming professional vocabulary of students of correspondence and distance learning of technical specialties, the possibilities and advantages of an integrative approach in forming their professional and communicative competence are analyzed. The methods of integrated teaching of professional vocabulary based on modern pedagogical and information and communication tools are substantiated.
