Abdullah ibn al-Muqaffa, regarded as one of the prominent representatives of Muslim philosophy in the eighth century, made a significant contribution to the development of Islamic political philosophy. This article examines the genesis of his ethical and philosophical views, the factors that influenced the formation of his worldview, and the role of other cultures in the development of Islamic civilization. It also analyzes the dialectical relationship between the scientific and philosophical achievements of the Persian civilization, to which the scholar belonged, and the development of Islamic philosophy.
