This article is devoted to the comparative-typological analysis of Uzbek and English folk proverbs and highlights their role in expressing national mentality. The study comparatively examines the linguistic and cultural features of proverbs, as well as their semantic, grammatical, and pragmatic characteristics. Using specific examples, particularly those related to health and wealth, as well as intra-group solidarity, the article demonstrates the similarities and differences in the worldview, values, and life experiences of the English and Uzbek peoples.
