This article is about the results of the research conducted on the technology of cultivation of Colchicum autumnale L. Corms was
divided into three types according to the size: A1) 2.5-3.5 cm; A2) 3.6-4.6 cm; A3) 4.7-5.7 cm in diameter and planted at three
different depths: B1) 9 cm, B2) 12 cm and B3) 15 cm. At the same time, three different options were set for the duration of
cultivation. C1) cultivation period is one year; C2) cultivation period is two years; C3) cultivation period is three years. Totally
27 types of variations were dug up and yield indicators were determined. The best planting depth for A1 was 9 cm, and in the
plants planted at this depth, the productivity was high (7965 kg/ha) in the 2nd year and in the third year it decreased to 5975
kg/ha. If the plant is grown in one place for a long period of time, in the second year, its reproduction coefficient will be high and
it will decreas in the following years. The best planting depth for corms in variation A2 was 12 cm and the results in the 3rd year
were slightly higher than in the 2nd year.
