THE ENTRY OF POLLEN TUBES INTO THE OVULE IN SOME COTTON SPECIES BELONGING TO THE GENUS GOSSYPIUM L.
The research work presents data on the number of seedpods and the processes of germination of pollen tubes into seedpods of
diploid and tetraploid cotton accessions belonging to different genome groups. The obtained results are important factor for
understanding the successful implementation of the process of macrosporogenesis and its disturbances under the influence of
various factors.
