STRUCTURAL FEATURES OF THE LEAF OF THE SALSOLA APERTA PAULS VIEW. IN THE CONDITIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN KYZYKUM

Morphology, anatomy, leaf, Salsola aperta, Kyzylkum.

Authors

The article studied the morpho-anatomical structure of the leaf in the species Salsola aperta, growing in the South-Western
Kyzylkum and determined the characteristic diagnostic specific signs. In the epidermis of the leaf, the presence of anomocytic
and hemiparacytic types of stomata was determined; simple unicellular papillary trichomes are also found from the middle to the
upper part of the leaf. Two different types of leaf mesophyll have been established: kranz-centric (Salsoloid) and kranz-
ventrodorsal, and the Salsaloid type of leaf mesophyll characteristic of the genus Salsola is explained by the fact that peripheral
vascular bundles are attached to the kranz cell.
