LEVEL OF HELMINTH LARVA CONTAMINATION OF TERRESTRIAL MOLLUSCS DISTRIBUTED IN THE NORTH-WESTERN PART OF UZBEKISTAN

In this article, 8 species of terrestrial mollusks were found in the wastelands of undeveloped territories, of which 6 tasi
(Cochlicopa nitens, Cochlicopa lubrica, Vallonia costata, Pupilla muscorum, Xeropicta candacharica, Deroceras laeve) provide
information on the role of the intermediate host for of certain helminth larvae. A high level of invasion of terrestrial mollusks by
helminth larvae depends on the distribution and density of mollusks in the population based on the nature of the biotope and its
microclimate. The higher the population density, the higher the level of mollusk invasion by helminth larvae was determined.
