ISOLATION OF ENDOPHYTES AND THEIR IDENTIFICATION
The diversity of bacterial endophytes was reported in different plant species, but particular interest was in those that have
agronomically important properties. The 16S rRNA gene pyrosequencing method was used to determine the composition of
bacterial endophytes in tomato leaves, and the results showed that the leaves contained five types of bacteria: Proteobacteria,
Actinobacteria, Planctomycetes, Verrucomicrobia and Acidobacteria, with Proteobacteria as the dominant type, and the least
dominant type were Acidobacteria. It is expected that with the use of modern sequencing technologies, many ongoing studies
will be devoted to the diversity of endophytes, in order to expand knowledge about the ecological roles that endophytes play in
the internal microbiome of plants, with the hope of using this information to increase yields.
