Bakterial endofitlarning xilma-xilligi turli xil o‘simlik turlarida qayd etilgan, ammo agronomik jihatdan muhim xususiyatlarga
ega bo‘lganlarga alohida qiziqish bor. Pomidor barglaridagi bakterial endofitlarning tarkibini aniqlash uchun 16s rRNK genini
pirosekvensiyalash usuli qo‘llanilgan va natijalar shuni ko‘rsatdiki, barglarda besh turdagi bakteriyalar mavjud: Proteobacteria,
Actinobacteria, Planctomycetes, Verrucomicrobia va Acidobacteria, Proteobacteria dominant turi va eng kam dominant turi
Acidobacteria. Zamonaviy sekvinslash texnologiyalaridan foydalangan holda, ko‘plab tadqiqotlar endofitlarning xilma-xilligiga
bag‘ishlanishi kutilmoqda, endofitlarning o‘simliklarning ichki mikrobiomasida o‘ynaydigan ekologik rollari haqidagi bilimlarni
kengaytirish uchun ushbu ma'lumotlardan hosildorlikni oshirish uchun foydalanishni maqsad qilib oladi.
