This article explores the importance of Uzbek folk tales in the educational system and their role in educating the younger generation. How narratives are used as an effective methodological tool in the study of national values and culture has been considered. Folk tales, with their educational and spiritual significance, help to form positive qualities in the minds of students, such as the values of our country, respect for Labor, moral responsibility and Human Relations. Also, the importance of teachers ' methodological approaches to the development of national values in students is emphasized. With the help of narratives, teachers will have the opportunity to expand the thinking and understanding abilities of students, acquaint them with national and universal values.
