The article analyzes the historical experience accumulated in the fight against acute infectious and epidemiological diseases in Uzbekistan during World War II. The measures taken to prevent a humanitarian crisis in the context of the evacuation of millions of people to the country during the war, the creation of front-line hospitals and the deterioration of the sanitary and epidemiological situation are considered. In addition, a detailed study using sources analyzed the fact that the lack of medical services in hospitals, disinfection teams, and vehicles for transporting patients in the fight against infectious diseases during this dangerous and complex period has led to delays in epidemiological measures.
