This article examines the linguistic features of legal discourse and courtroom communication in the legal thrillers of attorneynovelist Scott Turow. Using critical discourse analysis, forensic linguistics, pragmatics, and literary criticism, it explores how legal
terminology, courtroom interaction, and rhetorical strategies create an authentic legal environment. The findings demonstrate the
relationship between language, law, and literary representation, highlighting the gap between legal procedures and human realities
