In perovskite solar cells (PSCs), thermal heating and precursor composition play an important role in crystallinity control and
morphology formation of perovskite active layers for achieving higher photovoltaic performances. In this work, the effect of
heating temperature on the crystallization of perovskite active layers prepared from (CHNH 3 PbI 3 ) MAPbI 3 and MAPbICl 2
precursors was studied. Higher annealing temperature leads to agglomeration of perovskite crystals. This, in turn, leads to a
decrease in the photovoltaic performance of PSCs. MAPbICl 2 perovskite solar cells based on, a significant change in the
formation of crystallization size in the active layer was observed with the increase of annealing temperature. However, the
morphology and crystal size of MAPbI 3 perovskite-based solar cells increased their photovoltaic performance compared to
MAPbICl 2 perovskite solar cells with an increase in heating temperature, which was also confirmed by the absorption spectrum
and power conversion efficiency (PCE).
