This article analyzes the development of professional and pedagogical competencies in Artificial Intelligence (AI) among mathematics teachers based on the UNESCO AI Competency Framework for Teachers (2024). It examines the key competencies outlined in the framework and their practical application in mathematics education. Based on a systematic review of national and international scientific literature, the study evaluates the potential of adaptive learning platforms, intelligent assessment systems, and generative AI tools for mathematics instruction. The findings provide practical recommendations for enhancing AI competencies among mathematics teachers and improving the system of continuous professional development in accordance with the UNESCO framework.
