This study investigates the structural and dynamic characteristics of national and ethnic identity among adolescents amidst the ongoing digitalization and transformation of the modern information environment. Utilizing a systemic approach, an optimized 20item questionnaire synthesized from J. Phinney’s Multigroup Ethnic Identity Measure (MEIM) and G. U. Soldatova’s methodology was administered to evaluate the cognitive and affective components of ethnic self-awareness, as well as its socio-psychological behavioral patterns (adequate ethnic norm, ethnic nihilism, and hyperidentity/ethnocentrism) (N=78). The empirical data were statistically analyzed using the independent samples Student's t-test across gender and regional (urban vs. rural) dimensions. The findings provide a comprehensive empirical baseline for developing target psycho-pedagogical interventions aimed at fostering positive ethnic identity and multicultural tolerance among contemporary youth.
