LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY – AS A LEADING POLITICAL AUTHORITY IN JAPAN
The article highlights the role of political parties in the life of the state and society as important socio-political institutions. One
of the important aspects to which attention should be paid in this regard is the study of the experience of political parties
operating in developed countries. The article selected the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan as one of the leading political parties
in such developed countries and analyzed its activities. The ideological and legal basis of the activities of the Liberal Democratic
Party of Japan, the specific system of internal party relations, the existing shortcomings in the party and approaches to foreign
policy at the state level are studied
