GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF PYRUS KORSHINSKYI LITV. (ROSACEAE) AND TETRADIUM DANIELLII (BENN.) T.G. HARTLEY (RUTACEAE) IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE TASHKENT BOTANICAL GARDEN
The article provides information on the growth and development of decorative, perspective, economically significant species
introduced in the Tashkent Botanical Garden – Pyrus korshinskyi (Rosaceae) and Tetradium daniellii (Rutaceae) depending on
environmental factors. It is noted that the beginning of vegetation and flowering of Pyrus korshinskyi in comparison with natural
growing conditions in the conditions of introduction of the Tashkent Botanical Garden occurs 25-30 days earlier, flowering of
Tetradium daniellii in the homeland (East Asia) lasts up to 90 days (June-August), and in the conditions of the Botanical Garden
– 23-25 days, with the main environmental factors are – relative humidity and light. According to the data obtained, the good
growth and development of the studied species in the climatic conditions of our republic indicates that in the future Pyrus
korshinskyi can be used in horticulture as a rootstock, and in forestry as a forest-forming species; Tetradium daniellii can be used
in beekeeping and landscaping.
